Blue and Gold Banquet

I'm the Primary Presidency member over Cub Scouts in our ward.  Between that and being the mom of some cub scouts, I end up feeling pretty invested in nights like the Blue and Gold.

Valentine's Party

Because of year-round school this year, Elizabeth was off-track for Valentine's Day.  I thought it would be fun if we invited a few friends over to exchange Valentines.  I posted an invite on our Neighborhood Facebook page...thinking we'd pull a few of the families that were also off-track or homeschool.  I had no idea that we'd get this whole crew!  We decorated bags, played Valentine BINGO, decorated and ate heart sugar cookies, and exchanged Valentines.  Then I dashed off to volunteer at the school while people were still milling in the house and yard.  Things like this are not only fun in the doing on the day of, but it was a great excuse for Elizabeth and I to work together on decorations, making the cookies, etc. etc.

Ham Radio Operators

Took our Ham Radio tests and passed!  I passed my Technician and Greg amazed everyone by passing both his Technician and General.  So fun to take it in Logan with a lot of Dad's ham friends proctoring the test.  We even had to call Dad at the temple to tell him the results!
