This summer after "Nap Time/Quiet Time" in the afternoons...we've often had "Water Time". This has included either playing in the sprinklers, the Slip 'n Slide, or the suprising favorite...filling our wagon full of water and using like a water table. (I've looked and looked at water tables at the store and hadn't realized we had the perfect thing until it was "invented" by Nathan.) Nathan and Elizabeth can spend a lot time out working and playing together. (And this is Joshua's favorite time to play with the toys inside he doesn't want Elizabeth messing with.)
Nathan has been so cute to make it fun for Elizabeth.
And, Elizabeth has been happy to be doused by Nathan to keep things exciting.

One of these years we'll buy some "real toys"...but in the meantime the simple life is pretty good.

That sounds a lot like how our summer went: slip-n-slide & pool....but filling the wagon up in water, that is a great idea! We'll have to try that!
