A few days ago Joshua asked what the word "romantic" means. After I explained in 4-year-old terminology the best I could, Joshua exclaimed, "That's what Elizabeth and I are in the van! We hold hands and we love each other!" It is true that 90% of the time these days when I'm driving and I get a brief glimpse of the children behind me, Joshua and Elizabeth are quietly holding hands.
