I hosted our neighborhood book club at our home this week. The book was reviewed by someone else, but I got to make the treats and have it at our home. Fun to have a reason to try some recipes. I made pumpkin cupcakes, a chocolate poke cake, and a strawberry dessert.
The book was "Kisses from Katie", which I thought would be kind of unrelatable. (A 20 year-old girl from the U.S. goes to Uganda to volunteer and ends up staying and adopting 14 girls in the process.) But, it was actually a great read for me right now. It talks a lot about finding your own personal purpose. I love when she says, "This
is the spot on the map where God has asked me to do the things I do."
It makes me realize again that this is the spot that God has given for me to do the things I do. And, makes me what to recommit to finding my purpose here in this place...and then doing it!

Soo fun you did this! I'm going to need all the recipes.:) also, that book sounds like a good read. I'll have to add it to my list.:)
